Vulkan: Disable monolithic pipeline creation with GPL
As it violates OpenGL ES rules. This change also removes Vulkan perf
counter tests that attempt to verify that warmed up programs hit the
cache... this fails in non-trivial ways especially with graphics
pipeline library due to:
- Warm up tasks being async, they may finish after the test reads the
perf counters to set expectations
- Some drivers report a cache miss when fast-linking libraries... but
likely they don't even look at the cache (so both hit and miss would
have been inaccurate)
- There is no 100% guarantee that the warmup really leads to a draw-time
cache hit.
Things are made worse by

we don't necessarily even wait for the warm up tasks if ANGLE's view of
the pipeline description doesn't match what was used for warm up (even
if internally to the driver some of the state does not affect the binary
blobs).

Vulkan: Remove asyncCommandQueue
It's been years and it never showed an advantage. In the meantime,
performance without this feature seems close to native drivers (i.e. the
feature has lost its appeal) and it's frequently a source of
complication and bugs.

ColorspaceState struct is now used to cache write colorspace related
states to determine the colorspace of Vulkan draw image views.
ImageViewHelper methods are called during initialization and when
colorspace related states are toggled dynamically which in turn process
these states and determine the final write colorspace.
We can now fully support rendering to EGLImages, with colorspace
overrides, via texture or renderbuffer EGLImage targets

Tests: fix MultithreadFenceDraw, MultithreadFenceTexImage
Before this CL, pixels _after_ swapBuffers() were checked and in a way
that was causing a data race on mDrawGreen access. It seems to have
passed in certain special-case scenarios but was mostly broken, which
might explain the numerous issues that it caused.
After this CL, pixels are checked on each of 5 iterations _before_
swapBuffers() and mDrawGreen race is eliminated by ensuring read happens
before the background thread is unblocked.

Vulkan: remove deferFlushUntilEndRenderPass feature, always on
This only applies to Qualcomm chipsets, the feature was already enabled
for all other devices.
It was previously causing a manhattan 3.0 perf regression on some
Qualcomm devices, but my tests on S24 both with ANGLE trace manhattan_31
and running gfxbench manually do not show any obvious regression. It was
also not expected that this would result in a regression. As we do not
aim to improve perf on older devices, removing the feature altogether
so that defers are always enabled.
This change resulted in a change in gold images on these traces
on pixel 4 bots:
pokemon_masters_ex - text was missing and now is rendered
street_fighter_iv_ce_frame86 - shadow was missing and now is rendered
So it looks like the feature may have been working incorrectly.

Test: Fix crash in MultithreadingTestES3.SimultaneousBufferBind
The bug here is that thread0 stopped between
nextStep(Step::Thread0Ready) and waitForStep(Step::Thread1Ready)), and
then the thread 1 could run all the way to finish. Now when thread 0
wake up and resumes again, waitForStep will hit assertion.
This CL let thread 1 wait for thread 0 to finish to avoid getting into
this situation.

Remove assertion that program is not linking when bound/unbound
It's valid to link a program, let it happen in parallel and in the
meantime bind and unbind the program in other contexts. The add/release
ref functions were asserting that link is resolved, which is not true in
that case.

Make RefCountObject use atomics for the reference count
When the context share lock is disabled it is possible for races
with EGL Image reference counting causing the EGL Image to be deleted.
egl::Image already protects its members with a mutex but the siblings
also hold a reference to the egl::Image, if siblings are added and
removed at the same time, writing to the ref count races and the
egl::Image can be deleted while still being referenced.

GL: Fix UBO binding mapping change
In the absence of any other state change, the GL backend did not bind
buffers (previously unused) that are used after a UBO binding mapping
change.
This also triggered assertion errors in the Vulkan backend.
Additionally, this change improves cross-context programs, though the
Vulkan backend is still affected by some bugs. A follow up change will
rework the dirty bits for this change to fix that.

We had multiple different places that defined these, and with varying
naming schemes. Centralize them to be defined in platform_helpers.h.
Also renaming the IsApple(uint32_t) functions to IsAppleGPU(uint32_t) to
avoid ambiguous meaning: "IsApple" should mean "is Apple-vended OS"
while "IsAppleGPU" should mean "is Apple GPU vendor ID".

Re-enable mutable texture upload for one context
It was observed that in some apps, mutable textures are uploaded in a
context, but that context's outside RP command buffer is not flushed
at all, resulting in invalid (noise) or incorrect textures.
* Added isEligibleForMutableTextureFlush() to be used to determine
whether onMutableTextureUpload() should be called.
* Restricted the use of mutable texture upload to single-context
share groups.
* When the number of contexts becomes greater than one, the original
context's outside render pass command buffer is flushed.
* Added related tests.
* Added a test to make sure that textures can be uploaded in one
thread, and used for draw calls in another, with the help of a
sync object.
* Added a test to make sure that textures can be uploaded in the
main thread, and used in a new thread.
* Added a test in which a new context is created after mutable
mipmap textures are defined.

Tests: Reduce load of computation heavy tests for Swiftshader.
Affected tests are very core heavy and may load all CPU cores.
LUCI BOT is running multiple tests in parallel. Having such heavy tests
increases containment for CPU cores. As result, some tests may take
a lot more time to complete and even hit timeout (currently 60 sec).
Typical time to complete all tests on the LUCI BOT:
With this tests disabled: 295 sec
enabled: 475 sec (+180 sec or +61%)
Time to complete all tests on the local machine:
Normal tests:
Tests completed in 173.040861 seconds
Tests completed in 184.974704 seconds
Tests completed in 171.654014 seconds
Reduced load:
Tests completed in 127.693891 seconds

Vulkan: Fixed Context Priority mixing problems.
Problem details:
- Each "egl::ContextPriority" may have separate "VkQueue".
- "CommandQueue" only has two "PrimaryCommandBuffer"s for normal
and protected content.
- Commands from multiple "ContextVk" may be written
to a single "PrimaryCommandBuffer".
- That "PrimaryCommandBuffer" may be randomly submitted
to different "VkQueue"s.
- As the result - Commands from a single "ContextVk" may be submitted
to multiple "VkQueue"s.
Fix details:
- Created separate "PrimaryCommandBuffer" (lazily allocated)
for each "egl::ContextPriority".
- Commands with different priorities can't be mixed
in a single "PrimaryCommandBuffer".
- Therefore - Commands from a single "ContextVk" will be submitted
to a single "VkQueue".
- No difference for applications that use single "egl::ContextPriority"
for all Contexts.
Notes:
Another problem when resource is used in multiple Contexts with
different "VkQueue" (Priority).
One solution is to use Semaphores.
Another is to enfore same Priority for all Contexts in a Share Group
and Default Priority when using EGLImage.
This solution was submitted in the previous CL:
Vulkan: Enforce ContextPriority in ShareGroup and with EGLImage
Below test fails on G996B without this CL.

Vulkan: Enforce ContextPriority in ShareGroup and with EGLImage
This CL enforces single Context Priority for all Contexts in a Share
Group. This is necessary until Vulkan Semaphores will be used to
automatically synchronize Resource access between Contexts.
Contexts Priority updated when new Contexts is added to the Share Group.
New Priority will be the highest among all ever existed Contexts
(except if Priority is locked).
When Contexts Priority changes, all flushed commands are submitted to
the old VkQueue and semaphore is inserted into the new VkQueue.
Currently opened RenderPasses and commands will not be flushed.
When EGLImage is used in a Context, all Contexts in that Share Group
locked (forever) to the Default Priority (Medium). This is done to
simplify the implementation and because of the current limitations
(lack of mutex protection across Context Share Groups).
Notes:
- the EGL_CONTEXT_PRIORITY_LEVEL_IMG will report initial priority.
- below tests fail on G996B without this CL.

Vulkan: Threaded monolithic pipeline creation
With this change, once a pipeline is created out of libraries, a task is
scheduled (if necessary) to asynchronously create a corresponding
monolithic pipeline. Once the task is complete, the linked pipeline
handle is replaced by the monolithic one, gaining back any performance
that might have been lost due to the use of libraries.

Vulkan: Don't close render pass on framebuffer fetch
For applications that use framebuffer fetch in the same RP as
non-fetch programs, we can save some extra RenderPasses by always
creating our RP objects with input attachments enabled. This works
almost identically except for needing to use the images in a
"GENERAL" layout instead of "COLOR_ATTACHMENT_OPTIMAL". According
to partners it is possible to achieve performance parity even with
GENERAL layout.
To remove any potential negative impacts of using the GENERAL layout,
the context enters this always-framebuffer-fetch mode only and as soon
as a framebuffer fetch program is created. Applications that don't use
framebuffer fetch are thus unaffected.
This eliminates 20 render passes in the Genshin Impact trace (out of
about 58). On a Pixel 6 the resulting benchmark score speeds up by
~25%. For Real Racing 3, the speed up is ~30%.

Vulkan: Optimize sync followed by swap
Previously, inserting a sync object immediately caused a submission.
That was done in
https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/angle/angle/+/3200274 to be
able to wait until the sync object is signaled without having to wait
for whatever is recorded after it until a flush naturally happens.
Some applications issue a glFenceSync right before eglSwapBuffers. The
submission incurred by glFenceSync disallowed the optimizations that
eglSwapBuffers would have done, leading to performance degradations.
This could have been avoided if glFenceSync was issued right after
eglSwapBuffers, but that's not the case with a number of applications.
In this change, when a fence is inserted:
- For EGL sync objects, a submission is issued regardless
- For GL sync objects, a submission is issued if there is no render pass
open
- For GL sync objects, the submission is deferred if there is an open
render pass. This is done by marking the render pass closed, and
flagging the context as having a deferred flash.
If the context that issued the fence sync issues another draw call, the
render pass is naturally closed and the submission is performed.
If the context that issued the fence sync causes a submission, it would
have a chance to modify the render pass before doing so. For example,
it could apply swapchain optimizations before swapping, or add a resolve
attachment for blit.
If the context that issued the fence sync doesn't cause a submission
before another context tries to access it (get status, wait, etc), the
other context will flush its render pass and cause a submission on its
behalf. This is possible because the deferral of submission is done
only for GL sync objects, and those are only accessible by other
contexts in the same share group.

GL: Allow selecting virtualization groups at context creation
Rewrite EGL_ANGLE_platform_angle_context_virtualization to
EGL_ANGLE_context_virtualization, changing the context virtualization
parameter to an identifier for what virtualization group the frontend
context should be added to.
This allows ANGLE's GL backend to be used by multiple threads if the
user creates contexts with different virtualization groups.

Vulkan: Submit commands when Sync objects are initialized
This CL calls ContextVk::flushImpl() after the sync object (VkEvent) has
been created and initialized, so it has a valid Serial when it's waited
on later.
This change allows us to remove any tracking of pending sync objects,
since all sync objects will be flushed and submitted by the end of
SyncHelper::initialize().

Test Runner: Determine slow tests from test expectations.
This updates the test harness to handle slow test based on the TIMEOUT
test expectation. It removes the "registerSlowTests" API in favor of
using the test expectation files.
Also updates some of the timeout handling for various angle tests,
including on SwiftShader for multithreading tests.
Increases the timeout for tests in a batch to attempt to fix the
problem of the first test being much slower.

a specific gn configuration. This reland removes D3D11 as a

The app "Car Parking Multiplayer" issues a ClientWaitSync() command
without having already flushed the sync object and without an active
context. We should return TIMEOUT immediately rather than attempting to

Add test for multithreaded shared-context resource
The test does this:
1. Context 1: Read Texture 1 and draw into Framebuffer 1
2. Context 2: Read Texture 1 and draw into Framebuffer 2
3. Context 1: Delete Framebuffer 1
4. Context 1: Flush
5. Context 2: Modify Texture 1
Issue is Texture 1's mCurrentReadingNodes contains one node from each
context's command graph, one of which is deleted at step 4. At step 5, a
dependency is added from both nodes (one already deleted) to a new node,
causing use-after-free.

Move EGL Display config into EGLPlatformParameters.
This CL moves all of the EGLDisplay configuration into an EGL platform
struct. Consolidating display configuration in the struct allows us to
move configuration out of the test constructor. Then when we filter
test configs we don't need to wait for the individual test setup.

Re-land "Load entry points dynamically in tests and samples."
Fixes the Android/ChromeOS/Fuchsia builds by using consistent EGL
headers.
This CL adds a dynamic loader generator based on XML files. It also
refactors the entry point generation script to move the XML parsing
into a helper class.
Additionally this includes a new GLES 1.0 base header. The new
header allows for function pointer types and hiding prototypes.
All tests and samples now load ANGLE dynamically. In the future this
will be extended to load entry points from the driver directly when
possible. This will allow us to perform more accurate A/B testing.
The new build configuration leads to some tests having more warnings
applied. The CL includes fixes for the new warnings.

WGL: Support unvirtualized contexts and unsafe multithreading.
When using unvirtualized contexts, DisplayWGL still creates a Renderer for
managing any internal GL resources such as emulated back buffers for
DXGISwapChainWindowSurfaceWGL or D3DTextureSurfaceWGL but also creates a new
Renderer for each GL context. All created contexts share resources.
