Alexey Knyazev 17931e23 2023-01-27T00:00:00 Fix stencil and depth/stencil data uploads Multiple changes were made to depth and stencil load functions, removing redundant code and fixing issues. Failures were caused by incorrect assumptions about component locations in combined formats. * D32_FLOAT_S8X24_UINT has the same layout as GL_FLOAT_32_UNSIGNED_INT_24_8_REV * D24_UNORM_S8_UINT has stencil data in its MSBs, while GL_UNSIGNED_INT_24_8 puts it in LSBs. Yuxin Hu 808192a7 2022-05-09T16:39:45 Code Cleanup In Context::initCaps(), we first read the compressedTextureFormats from the contextImpl::getNativeCaps(), then we are clearing the retrieved compressedTextureFormats array in Context::updateCaps() immediately. We shouldn't need to fill the same array twice. Removing the first array value assignments in all backend. Disable GL_APPLE_clip_distance when the direct-to-Metal compiler is active. It can not yet handle the gl_ClipDistance array. Disable use of rectangular textures for IOSurfaces. Metal can bind IOSurfaces to 2D textures, and this was passing all tests in the SPIR-V Metal backend. Introducing rectangular textures breaks the SPIR-V Metal backend, and the tests currently fail on the direct-to-Metal backend. Fix several bugs with ProvokingVertex, which was causing both the SpirV and Direct backends to incorrectly draw indices. Previously, it was setup using gl::GenerateMinimumTextureCaps(). - This CL also adds InitializeTextureDataFunction and LoadFunctionMap to mtl::Format. They are needed to properly initialize/convert textures with non-normalized formats. - This CL is prerequisite for integer & floating point format supports. - New test: DXT1CompressedTextureTest.DXT1Alpha (this test was added in the past but was reverted for some reasons).
