Vulkan: Remove ShaderVariableType and flatten info map
With the conversion of the interface variable info map keys to SPIR-V
ids, there is no longer a benefit to bucket resources by their type.
This change removes this bucketing and flattens the map.

Vulkan: Flatten shader interface variable maps
This change removes duplicate entries added in the shader shader
interface variable maps. One level of arrayness (indexed by shader
type) is removed from these maps as now there is only a single entry
per linked resource/etc.

Vulkan: Reduce CPU overhead for uniform buffer change
One of the common usage pattern is change uniform buffers and draw.
Right now every uniform buffer change goes into ShaderResource dirty
code path that rebuilds entire ShaderResource cache key and descriptor
set etc. This CL keeps SHaderResource dirty code path, and will be used
when program changes or framebuffer changes. But uniform buffer change
will go down its own code path that only update uniform buffer related
state.
This CL along with prior two CLs reduced asphalt_9 average frame time
(with multi context hacked away) from 5.375 ms to 5.2594 ms (reduced
2.15%).

Vulkan: Move mWriteDescriptors out of DescriptorSetDescBuilder
DescriptorSetDescBuilder has two data structures: mWriteDescriptors,
which keeps track of "layout" of descriptorSet, and mDescriptorInfos,
which is the actual cache key for descriptorSet. mDescriptorInfos will
be updated every time buffer or image changes. But mWriteDescriptors is
immutable with buffer/image, it is static per program executable (with
exception of InputAttachment). Right now whenever there is a buffer or
image change, we call into DescriptorSetDescBuilder and update both
mWriteDescriptors and mDescriptorInfos. This CL moves mWriteDescriptors
out of DescriptorSetDescBuilder, and stores it in ProgramExecutableVk.
To deal with InputAttachment variation, ContextVk makes a copy of
mWriteDescriptors when program is bound, and then update inputAttachment
with framebuffer information. This not only removes unnecessary update
of mWriteDescriptors, but also removes the requirement that
mShaderBuffersDescriptorDesc has to reset and rebuild as a whole
(because mWriteDescriptors keeps mCurrentInfoIndex which gets
incremented as we build). This allows us to do further optimization in
future to do piece meal update of mDescriptorInfos with only the changed
data.

Vulkan: Remove buffer/image tracking from DescriptorSetDescBuilder
Right now DescriptorSetDescBuilder keeps an array of images and buffers
as we build DescriptorSet cache key. Later on if we have a cache miss
and allocated a new cache entry, we walk the array and tag the images
and buffers with newSharedCacheKey. If we have a cache hit, the tracked
images/buffers are unused and then cleared. This means the effort of
keep track of these buffers are wasted when we have cache hit, which we
expect to be most likely. This was initially implemented this way simply
because of convenience, but there is really not a need to add another
tracker for them, as they are readily available from context state
anyway. This CL remove the tracking of images/buffers from
DescriptorSetDescBuilder and replaced with context API to tag images and
buffers with newSharedCacheKeywhen when we have a cache miss.

Vulkan: Relax size limit for dynamicBuffer to pick buddy algorithm
If glBufferData's usage is one of the dynamic usage, app may keep
calling glBufferData frequently, which means get into suballocation code
frequently. There are two suballocation algorithms today: buddy
algorithm (faster) and generic (slower). Right now the decision of which
algorithm (i.e, which pool) to use is purely based on size or memory
type. This CL also utilize usage information so that dynamic usage will
pick buddy algorithm with bigger size threshold. mSmallBufferPool is
removed and replaced with the BufferPoolPointerArray that gets picked
based on allocation algorithm.
This CL reduces average frame time of efootball_pes_2021 from 7.518 ms
to 4.670 ms on pixel 7 Pro.

Vulkan: Fix xfb buffer redefine to smaller size
In 89e11878b275b15735eaf273ababfa6fd43a2e3d, a use-after-free bug was
fixed where glBufferData redefined a buffer, leading to a change in
storage. This was only tested for the case where the new buffer was
larger than the old buffer.
When the new buffer is smaller however, another issue remains where the
buffer size as cached by the transform feedback object used the old
object's size. This is worked around in this change, with a fix for the
real issue (that the buffer state is updated after calling into the
backend instead of before) coming up.

Vulkan: Create buffer for vertex array if robust enabled
If robust access is enabled (i.e., chrome), we want to ensure vulkan
driver never access beyond that OpenGL buffer boundary. But with
suballocation from BufferPool, we are using the same VkBuffer for all
suballocations from the same BufferBlock. this combined with the fact
that there is no size information in the vkCmdBindVertexBuffers, it
means vulkan driver can not properly ensure vertex access not go beyond
the subrange. It can only guarantee not access beyond the entire
VkBuffer size. This CL creates a dedicated vkBuffer object and bind it
to the suballocation of the vkDeviceMemory so that vulkan driver will
see the exact range of the subrange instead of entire buffer. Since we
may allocated more memory than actual requested size and the extra
paddings are not zero filled , user size is used to create this
vkBuffer. This is only enabled when robust access is enabled.
This CL also ported webgl conformance test
out-of-bounds-index-buffers.html and out-of-bounds-array-buffers.html
to end2end test.

As part of the refactor, we switch passing a ContextVk to passing

moves the perf counters to vk::Context, so we can access them
everywhere.

Vulkan: Implement BufferPool using VMA's virtual allocator
VMA's allocation calls used to be sub-allocating a pool of memory. What
we really want is sub-allocate a VkBuffer object. VMA recently added
support to expose the underlying range allocation algorithm via APIs,
which user can use it to sub-allocate any object. This CL uses that new
virtual allocation API to sub-allocate from a pool of VkBuffers.
In this CL we only switched BufferVk::mBuffer to sub-allocate from the
BufferPool object.

Vulkan: Allow DynamicBuffer suballocation in BufferVk
When allocations are made from DynamicBuffer, they suballocate from a
possibly larger BufferHelper. In BufferVk, the offset of the

This change applies any such offset that may arise from suballocations
everywhere, and makes BufferVk use a larger buffer size when the

Vulkan: Clean up transform feedback extension pause/resume
1. The xfb counter buffer barrier issued was wrong, following a typo in
the spec. This barrier is now correctly issued using the usual
barrier APIs.
2. A mechanism was added to automatically pause/resume transform
feedback when a program pipeline needs to be rebound. This is
incorrect as it misses the xfb counter buffer barrier. The render
pass is broken instead if transform feedback is active/unpaused and
the program pipeline is changed.
3. The transform feedback counter buffers are now disposed of when
transform feedback is ended. This avoids an unnecessary barrier that
this change would have otherwise incurred (and hence render pass
break) in Manhattan which repurposes the same transform feedback
object.

Vulkan: Make shader variable info maps a class.
Instead of using a map type directly we abstract the info maps into an
encapsulated class. We can enforce a specific API set instead of using
the same API as the map class. This also cleans up a few of the APIs
related to these maps.
This change will allow future changes to the way the variables are
stored in the class without drastically changing the interface.

Vulkan: Support PrimitivesGenerated query
This query uses the Vulkan transform feedback extension. In GL,
GL_TRANSFORM_FEEDBACK_PRIMITIVES_WRITTEN and GL_PRIMITIVES_GENERATED
queries can be independently begun/ended. However, Vulkan requires that
queries from pools of the same type can only be active one at a time.
This forbids the two GL queries from being handled by two VK queries
when they are simultaneously begun.
This change makes these queries share their QueryHelper objects. The
Vulkan transform feedback queries unconditionally retrieve both results
anyway, so this is just a matter of making sure the two GL queries are
merged as one when they are simultaneously used.
The change fixes a number of issues as collateral:
- TransformFeedbackPrimitivesWritten queries when !emulated were not
released
- Stashed queries were never released
- If no render pass is open when a query ends, then getResult(no_wait)
ended up waiting

Reduce dependency on ProgramExecutable::mProgram[Pipeline]State
Remove the dependency on mProgramState/mProgramPipelineState for the
following functions in ProgramExecutable:
hasUniformBuffers()
hasStorageBuffers()
hasAtomicCounterBuffers()
hasTransformFeedbackOutput()
getTransformFeedbackBufferCount()
The data structures those function were querying were recently moved
into the ProgramExecutable, so the call stack was:
ProgramExecutable -> ProgramState -> ProgramExecutable
This change updates the functions to return the results immediately.
Remaining functions to be cleaned up in later CLs:
hasDefaultUniforms()

Vulkan:Transform/feedback instanced draw support
These fixes allow dEQP 3.1 KHR-GLES31.core.vertex_attrib_binding.basic-input*
test cases to pass.
This fixes a bug in instanced drawing with transform feedback buffers
where we were overwriting the initial transform feedback output as new
instances were drawn. To fix this, the vertices in each draw are passed
into a uniform value and the output is offset based on the current instance
and the number of vertices in the draw.
It also fixes a validation error where transform feedback descriptor
was sometimes setting a buffer range of 0. This is not allowed, so in
the 0 case we pull the actual buffer size from the bufferHelper object.

Vulkan:Update Vulkan Vertex Attribute Offsets
This fixes most of the test for
dEQP 3.1 KHR-GLES31.core.vertex_attrib_binding.basic-input*
The bug fixes is that we were not correctly setting the vertex attribute
offset for vertex attribs that were converted into their own buffer.
We kept the attrib offset from the frontend as if the converted attribs
were in the original buffer, but converted vtx attrib buffers in the VK
backend are tightly packed from the start of the buffer so when converting
the actual offset should be 0.
Also, in order to avoid a VK validation error, this change includes a tmp
workaround to make sure transform feedback output buffer range is never 0,
but sets VK_WHOLE_SIZE in that case. A follow-on fix that focuses on
transform feedback fixes will address this validation error more fully.

Vulkan: Fold read access into write flags on buffer writes
This could lead to a subtle bug:
Say we use a buffer as a storage buffer and write to it. We then must
issue a memory barrier before using it as a uniform buffer. However we
would set the SHADER_READ bit as a read mask on a storage buffer
access. This seems like it could lead to a missing barrier.

Vulkan: Implement multi-threaded GL.
The main component of this change is to make vk::BufferHelper,
vk::ImageHelper and vk::SyncHelper use a common path. We introduce a
new "vk::SharedGarbage" helper class that stores small lists of garbage
from individual objects like an ImageHelper or BufferHelper. The
SharedGarbage is stored in the RendererVk with the ResourceUse of the
helper object. The ResourceUse tells RendererVk when it is safe to
destroy the GarbageObjects.
New "onGraphAccess" commands are added in a few places to enable the
common garbage collection path. A couple Context-only resources like
default attributes now are referenced where they were not before.
Also reorganizes some functions so we can add a few helpful ASSERTs
to our graph dependencies. Added "updateCurrentAccessNodes" for this.
Also adds a "RendererScoped" helper to replace many uses of
"ContextScoped".
The multithreading EGL tests mostly pass but have some remaining
flakiness so cannot yet be enabled.

Vulkan: Use ResourceUse to track object lifetime.
With the new resource tracking scheme the CommandGraph, tracking a
"Context serial" aka "current" serial is no longer necessary for
CommandGraphResources. Serial tracking has been moved to the shared
ResourceUse struct that gets updated on a command submission. Thus
we don't need to store the serial as a current separate piece of info
in BufferHelper/ImageHelper.
Will lead to further redesign for the multi-threading support for

Vulkan: Fix crash with glBeginTransformFeedback
The TransformFeedbackVk::onBeginEnd() method wasn't calling updateQueueSerial(),
which was causing CommandGraphResource::hasChildlessWritingNode() to use an old
mCurrentWritingNode, which had already been freed (i.e. Visual Studio showed it
pointing to memory that is 0xdddddddd--which means that mCurrentWritingNode has
been freed, but is still being used).
Unfortunately, there are still other crashes affecting these tests, but they
are the same set (and yes, there are multiple, and they are random) that cause
most of the "KHR-GLES3.copy_tex_image_conversions.required.*" tests to crash).

Additionally, setting write dependencies now include both read and write
flags. This is in preparation for SSBO support where the buffer can be
used to read data in addition to write.

Vulkan: Emulate Transform Feedback with vertex shader output
In ES 3.0 and 3.1, only non-indexed GL_POINTS, GL_LINES and GL_TRIANGLES
is supported for transform feedback. Without tessellation and geometry
shaders, we can calculate the exact location where each vertex transform
output should be written on the CPU, and have each vertex shader
invocation write its data separately to the appropriate location in the
buffer.
This depends on the vertexPipelineStoresAndAtomics Vulkan feature.

Proliferate gl::Context everywhere.
This gives the D3D back-end access to the GL state almost anywhere.
This uses the onDestroy hook for Textures to push errors up from
destructors, although they still don't quite make it to the Context.
There are places, such as in EGL object (Context/Surface) destruction,
where we end up calling through to GL implementation internals without
having access to a gl::Context. We handle this via a proxy Context
to a Display, basically a null context, that has access to impl-side
state like the Renderer pointer if necessary. It does not have access
to the normal GL state.
Also Pass gl::Context to RefCountObject::release(). Since we're using
destroy() methods now, we should not ever call the destructor directly.

Support virtualized contexts and transform feedback in Renderer11.
Track buffer offets in the transform feedback object and dirty them when a
buffer is bound. This fixes problems when a buffer is rebound at the same
offset and maintains tracking between context switches.
