Message : Update iwm(4) 9260 and 9560 firmware to a newer release. Apparently, new firmware images fix security issues, see: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00509.html Intel did not publish new images for chips older than 9k, at least not in the linux-firmware Git repository. If anyone knows details about such decisions and is willing to share them, I would be happy to learn more. ok sthen@
