Message : Disable the ffi on all platforms. Too flakey, caused ffihugs to dump core on sparc64. No ffi was the old hugs' behaviour. Also respect $CC while we're here. Tested and fixed by sturm@ with some help from me Ok sturm@ pvalchev@
