8a8890a9 2011-05-29 11:04:08 build: the user can override AUTOM4TE, AUTORECONF and AUTOUPDATE too Our build system allows the user to override AUTOCONF and AUTOHEADER at configure time, and honours these overrides in our testsuite. But it didn't do the same with AUTOM4TE, AUTORECONF and AUTOUPDATE. This change fixes that inconsistency. * configure.ac (am_AUTOM4TE, am_AUTOUPDATE, am_AUTORECONF): New AC_SUBSTitutions. 0fb020fa 2008-12-21 22:38:37 Revamp semantics for `missing help2man' and manpage distribution. Previously, `missing help2man' would create a missing man page containing an error message, and exit 1. This does not play well with `make': the next run will see this particular man page as being up to date, and will only error out on the next generated man page, if any; repeat until all pages are done. One hope is that there, the typical file name length is lower.
