  * builds/unix/ftconfig.in, builds/vms/ftconfig.h: Define
  FT_CHAR_BIT.
  
  * src/base/ftobjs.c (FT_Load_Glyph): Don't apply autohinting if
  glyph is vertically distorted or mirrored.
  
  * src/cff/cffgload.c (cff_slot_load): Handle zero `size' properly
  for embedded bitmaps.
