Change prefix for man pages from "le_" to "libevent_" As pointed by @kloczek: "With only two characters it would be harder to guess under what kind of name are libevent lvl 3 man pages. Longer name with bash/fix/zsh tab competition should not be a problem :)" Refs: #1099

1. BUILDING AND INSTALLATION
Autoconf

CMake (Windows)
Install CMake: https://www.cmake.org

Package Managers
You can download and install libevent using the vcpkg dependency manager:
git clone https://github.com/Microsoft/vcpkg.git cd vcpkg ./bootstrap-vcpkg.sh ./vcpkg integrate install ./vcpkg install libeventThe libevent port in vcpkg is kept up to date by Microsoft team members and community contributors. If the version is out of date, please create an issue or pull request on the vcpkg repository.
