buffer: do not round up allocation for reference-type chain objects Skip rounding up memory allocations for: * evbuffer_add_reference() * evbuffer_add_buffer_reference() * evbuffer_add_file_segment() These chain objects only store small structs with references to other things, and these small structs do not themselves grow, so bumping up the allocation to MIN_BUFFER_SIZE (512 bytes) is wasteful.

1. BUILDING AND INSTALLATION

Package Managers
You can download and install libevent using the vcpkg dependency manager:
git clone https://github.com/Microsoft/vcpkg.git cd vcpkg ./bootstrap-vcpkg.sh ./vcpkg integrate install ./vcpkg install libeventThe libevent port in vcpkg is kept up to date by Microsoft team members and community contributors. If the version is out of date, please create an issue or pull request on the vcpkg repository.
