build: Use an export symbols file if there is no version script support We generate the symbol list from the version script to avoid repeating ourselves and potentially getting the lists out-of-sync. Proposed-by: Michael Haubenwallner <michael.haubenwallner@ssi-schaefer.com>

libmd - Message Digest functions from BSD systems This library provides message digest functions found on BSD systems either on their libc or libmd libraries and lacking on others like GNU systems, thus making it easier to port projects with strong BSD origins, without needing to embed the same code over and over again on each project.
