Revised platform types to use 'best supported' size.
This will allow graceful migration to 64 bit file sizes and timestamps should
git's binary interface be extended to allow this.

Revert "Properly export all external symbols in Win32"
It is not a good idea to export these internal symbols now that they are
not required to run the unit tests.

Properly export all external symbols in Win32
Some external functions were not being exported because they were using
the 'extern' keyword instead of the generic GIT_EXTERN() macro.

win32: Add routines to abstract memory-mapped file functions
In particular, the git__mmap() and git__munmap() routines provide
the interface to platform specific memory-mapped file facilities.
We provide implementations for unix and win32, which can be found
in their own sub-directories.
