Message : workaround for a problem that appeared with xterm 243 on arm cpus. It dumps core in VTInitialize() if charproc.c is compiled with -O2. The problem is in the lines 5610 to 5614 of this file, which were added by xterm 243, but I can't see an obvious problem here.
