Trace tests: generate and use trace list according to gn args
Generates out/<config>/gen/trace_list.json which contains
the list of traces included in the build according to the
angle_restricted_traces gn arg (or all traces if not set).
Test runner uses that file instead of the full restricted_traces.json.
Android runner pushes that file to the device to the usual location
(e.g. /sdcard/chroimum_tests_root/gen/trace_list.json)
This also fixes the issue where
`angle_trace_tests --list-tests`
lists all traces, not just those that were selected with the gn arg.
Similarly, running all traces without a filter would be limited to
the same list.
This transitively applies to trace bundles.

Tests: Support multiple users on Android
On most Android platforms, the userId is '0' and many of our defaults
just work. But on some, the default is non-zero, and that complicates
things.
To support this, we have to specify which user is correct, which can
be determined with:
adb shell am get-current-user
Update everywhere we were using sdcard directly and use:
Before: /sdcard
After: /storage/emulated/<userId>
Incorporate the userId to find the application's home directory:
Before: /data/data/com.android.angle.test
After: /data/user/<userId>/com.android.angle.test
This CL:
- Starts using a user flag in our Android scripts
- Updates where tests look for test data and binaries
- Updates where scripts use temp and external storage
- Updates script to not use sdcard at all when root
- Disables run-as when user is not default

Add KHR_robustness
* From the spec, there are some differences between KHR_robustness
and EXT_robustness (already in use). In this CL, the following are
addressed:
* Updating the EXT suffixes
* Changing EXT to KHR for GLES
* Removing EXT for GL
* Adding GLGetnUniformuivKHR (no equivalent in EXT)
* Added GL_KHR_robustness to the list of extensions.
* The API implementations seem to be already in place.
* Validation functions will be updated in a follow-up CL.

Rework external image capture
Move external image creation into the trace fixture. Record image size
at capture time and then recreate it using a GL staging texture and
placeholder data during replay if the original client buffer is missing
(MEC) or the image was created from another API (AHB).
Track when EGLImages are created and destroyed during capture so they
can be restored to their original MEC state at reset time. Clean up
the backing GLTexture resources when the corresponding EGLImage is
destroyed.
In cases where EGL calls are made without an associated GL context, look
up and active context to use from the passed in EGLDisplay parameter.

Capture/Replay: Gen gen-on-bind resources on replay
Fixes a handle id collision where capture-time handles are directly used
at replay time for gen-on-bind resources, and end up colliding with
handles already allocated by the replay driver. This change explicitly
allocates an unused handle for gen-on-bind resources by calling glGen*.
The destruction of gen-on-bind resources is already managed correctly by
handleGennedResource().

Capture/Replay: Add optional replay of trimmed resources
This CL:
- Adds '--include-inactive-resources' option to
angle_trace_tests
- Removes the 'trim-enabled' option
- Outputs all previously trimmed shaders/programs to trace file
in a new Setup function, SetupReplayContextSharedInactive()
which is executed only if the new option is specified
- Modifies CaptureTest to add inactive resources, but does not
set the include-inactive-resources flag

extension xmls: fix incorrect use of <ptype> tags
I was having trouble using some GL/EGL loader generators because of some
errors in the XML definitions for ANGLE.
The first major problem is the content of the <ptype> tags. Let's refer
to the Khronos registry XML schema (which is annoyingly a PDF rather
than an xsd that we can test against, though I don't know if an xsd
would catch this anyway):
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/KhronosGroup/OpenGL-Registry/master/xml/readme.pdf
In section 12.4.2, "Contents of <param> tags" it states:
The <ptype> tag is optional, and contains text which is a valid type
name found in <type> tag, and indicates that this type must be
previously defined for the definition of the command to succeed.
Builtin C types, and any derived types which are expected to be
found in other header files, should not be wrapped in <ptype> tags
Note that the above is repeated for the contents of <proto> tags as
well.
The extension XML files currently have a bunch of <ptype> tags which
don't meet the expectations described above. The correct transformation
for them would be, for example:
<ptype>GLfloat *</ptype> -> <ptype>GLfloat</ptype> *
<ptype>void *</ptype> -> void *
<ptype>const char *</ptype> -> const char *
<ptype>EGLAttrib *</ptype> -> <ptype>EGLAttrib</ptype> *
The next issue is that some tags have some typos, such as "<pytpe>"
instead of "<ptype>". (Now *that* is something an .xsd would catch...)
The last issue is the use of the typename "GLvoid" which is not as
serious a problem. It is still defined in Khronos' gl.xml <types> block,
but Khronos no longer uses it in their XML registries. The comment for
the "GLvoid" type in their <types> block states:
<type comment="Not an actual GL type, though used in headers in the past">typedef void <name>GLvoid</name>;</type>
So we might as well replace those with just plain "void".
Anyway, long story short: to apply these transformations, I used Perl
regular expressions, and applied these expressions in order:
- Fix the tag misspellings:
s#<(/?)pytpe>#<\1ptype>#g
- Move the const qualifiers (if present) and pointer asterisk(s) (if
any) outside the <ptype> tag itself:
s#<ptype>(const )?([A-Za-z0-9]+)[ ]?(\*\*?)</ptype> #\1<ptype>\2</ptype> \3#g
- Replace "GLvoid", "char", and "void" inside ptype tags to normal
C types outside tags:
s#<ptype>(GLvoid|void|char)</ptype>#\1#g

Add trace_interface: functions and callbacks for traces
Defines the interface between the test suite
(or an other TraceLibrary class user) and trace libraries.
TraceFunctions defines entry points for calls suite->trace, such as
SetupReplay() or SetBinaryDataDir().
TraceCallbacks defines entry points for calls trace->suite, for example
for loading .angledata.gz files.
These are set up via the exported SetupEntryPoints() call. Functions
like SetupReplay etc no longer need to be exported from the trace
library.
TraceInfo (parsed representation of the trace json) is moved to
trace_interface as is. This is convenient for further changes to the
fixture that will allow to easily move some of the captured parameters
to json.
This also moves Decompress functionality (and memory ownership) to test
suite entirely, which avoids Decompress/Delete callbacks - the trace
just calls LoadBinaryData via TraceCallbacks and TraceLibrary releases
the memory either on FinishReplay or in its destructor.
This should also take care of the memory leak described in

Capture/Replay: make failure to load a trace lib more clear
Before this CL, the logs would point to inability to find
SetTraceInfo, which is misleading as the actual issue is that the
library wasn't loaded in the first place.
Error handling is a bit obscure due to mTraceLibrary being set to a
non-null object wrapping a null library so we have to check if
getNative() is null. `loadError.empty()` can't be used to check this
because it's getting set in case of success as well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Android: Build traces outside of APK
Our trace list has gotten too large for a single APK (2GB).
To continue supporting compiled traces, we can now place the
libraries in the test application's home directory, which
is discoverable and executable without root.
To build and run with all traces, use `angle_trace_perf_tests`
as your build target, then use the local Android helper script:
$ autoninja -C out/<config> angle_trace_perf_tests
$ (cd out/<config>; ../../src/tests/run_angle_android_test.py \
angle_trace_tests --filter='*among_us' \
--verbose --local-output --verbose-logging \
--fixed-test-time-with-warmup 10)
To continue using bundled libraries, specify your trace list in
GN args using `angle_restricted_traces` and use steps that
match other platforms:
$ autoninja -C out/<config> angle_trace_tests
$ out/Android/angle_trace_tests --gtest_filter='*among_us*' \
--verbose --local-output --verbose-logging \
--fixed-test-time-with-warmup 10

Trace Interpreter: gzip cpp and run gold tests.
New test step:
angle_restricted_trace_gold_interpreted_tests
similar to existing
angle_restricted_trace_gold_tests
but runs a subset of newest traces that have the right format.
Currently there are 8 of them and the filter is hard-coded in
test_suites.pyl. rise_of_empires can also be run interpreted but
happened to flake during testing so it's not included for now.
Trace cpp files are concatenated and gzipped
as a build step producing gen/tracegz_{trace}.gz
and these gz files are then distributed as part of the build
--trace-interpreter flag changes from boolean to string to support:
--trace-interpreter=gz:
* this uses the gz file above
* gold tests added in this CL use this option
--trace-interpreter=c:
* using uncompressed c/cpp file
* existing angle_trace_interpreter_tests runs a retrace
saving .c files and uses this option

Trace Interpreter: Move to a shared library.
Based on https://crrev.com/c/4178024 but does only one thing:
makes trace interpreter a shared library (as if it was a compiled trace)
I am not sure what impact this actually has on the TracePerfTest
callbacks (mentioned in the CL above) as I see onEglMakeCurrent callback
getting called without this CL as well. Anyways, this makes things a bit
more consistent.
* Gets rid of TraceReplayInterface
* TraceInterpreter is now an implementation detail
* Need to additionally pass list of trace files to TraceLibrary
(new SetTraceInfo replay export)
* GetResourceIDMapValue is just moved as is to the right lib

Add PLS utilities for interrupting a rendering pass
Adds two more simple commands to ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage that
allow WebGL and the command buffer to interrupt rendering passes without
having to either (1) make expensive queries, or (2) track lots of
complex state for validation that they are not currently equipped to
track.

Add back "non-robust" PLS queries
Chrome doesn't have a codegen template for queries that model the
"robust" signature, so support both types.
Specify that the robust variants are only supported if
ANGLE_robust_client_memory is supported, so Chrome and other
implementations don't have to support them.

Traces: Add key frame support
Allow specifying a key frame in the trace JSON, i.e:
"KeyFrames": [ 20 ],
This allows our infra to use a frame other than 1 when
taking screenshots for quality comparison.
Adds new flag `--run-to-key-frame`, which will stop the
trace once key frame has been reached. If no key frame in
JSON, frame 1 will be used.
Note the name in JSON is plural, but we only support one
key frame for now. Multiple key frame support can come
in the future.
This CL also updates the code to allow ending traces
early with `--max-steps-performed` which has been broken
since http://crrev/c/4008998
It also removes `--one-frame-only` which is superseded by
`--run-to-key-frame`, and can be replicated using
`--max-steps-performed 1`.

Capture/Replay: Add and handle new resource type for EGLSync
So far calls involving EGLSync were not tracking the actual
sync objects, and this may lead to race conditions in
multi-threaded and multi-context scenarios.
This CL adds the type EGLSyncID and some specialized code
handling of egl::Sync to distinguish EGLSync from the already
existing GLSync objects in order to track them separately.

Add EGL_ANGLE_wait_until_work_scheduled extension
We're changing eglReleaseTexImage so it calls
flushCommandBuffer(mtl::NoWait) instead of
flushCommandBuffer(mtl::WaitUntilScheduled)
and then adding an extension to allow us to
WaitUntilScheduled.
This is because Chrome calls eglReleaseTexImage for
every canvas and having it WaitUntilScheduled per call
is very slow. So instead we'll call eglWaitUntilWorkScheduledANGLE
once which will effectively wait just once.

Add new retrace command get_min_reqs
`retrace_restricted_traces.py get_min_reqs` finds the minimum
required GLES version and extensions and record them to a trace's
json file. TracePerfTest has also been modified to use the new
"RequiredExtensions" json field to determine if it should run a
test or not. This allows several lines to be removed from
TracePerfTest's constructor.
get_min_reqs uses a divide-and-conquer strategy to find the extensions.
This approach should be faster for traces where the number of required
extensions is less than 20.
This adds a new command to retrace_restricted_traces.py called
get_min_reqs. This runs an existing trace multiple times to find what
the minimum required GLES version is, then records that version to the
trace's json file.

EGL: Implement eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE
Add eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE function to the
ANGLE_metal_shared_event_sync extension. This brings the extension on
par with the EGL_ANDROID_native_fence_sync extension.
eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE allows for copying the Metal event object
from EGLSync objects implemented by the ANGLE Metal renderer. This
function follows Objective-C convention for "copy" methods and increases
the retain count of the Metal event object. The EGL API user is thus
responsible for ensuring to release the returned object to avoid memory
leaks.
Test: angle_end2end_tests --gtest_filter=EGLSyncTestMetalSharedEvent.*

Introduce GL_ANGLE_logic_op
This extension exposes the desktop GL glLogicOp function as a GLES
extension. This is supported by Vulkan through the logicOp feature as
well.
The goal is to directly use this extension in GLES1 emulation where the
backend supports it, avoiding a more costly fallback.

Reland "Generate stubs for ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage"
This is a reland of commit 8208e8a234d05b413d79e7a93b6a428adea41b33
In Take 2 we omit the GLenum groups PixelLocalLoadOpANGLE and
PixelLocalInternalFormatANGLE. We can add these back once the extension
is published and we can update Khronos's gl.xml, or else once we figure
out how to make this work without updating the Khronos gl.xml.

Capture/Replay: Delete binary data in FinishReplay via callback
Delete callback fixes b/179188489 as delete[] will get called from the
same module where allocation happens. When decompress/delete callbacks
not provided, new[] and delete[] are called from the fixture.
AFAICT, gBinaryData == nullptr every time, even with a single test and
--gtest_repeat=N, so we never delete the uncompressed data. When
running multiple tests locally, I see RES usage grow significantly
on Linux which this CL fixes. I don't think this matters for bot runs as
we run tests one by one there.

Turn missing {trace_name}.json trace files into test failures.
Before this change, a missing or broken trace json file results in all
trace tests "disappear" from the list with only ERR in logs. After this
change, a missing or broken trace json will result in that specific test
FAIL status and error in logs.
Note that this also allows for inconsistency between
restricted_traces.json and trace json files on the device because we're
no longer requiring for trace json to be loaded unless the test is
actually being run.

Move trace loader code to a common location.
With that Capture/Replay will be able to make use of the same
code.

Fixes for C++20 support.
* The compiler grew smart enough to warn about value changes due to
casting to float inside floatToNormalized(). Make it smart enough to
realize this isn't a problem by using constexpr if.
* Types on both sides of a comparison operator should be the same.
* Structs with user-declared constructors are no longer aggregates.
Provide a constructor and call it.
* std::result_of<F(x)> is gone, use std::invoke_result<F, x> instead.

Capture/Replay: Store enums to JSON as hex
We're storing some enums in the per-trace JSON as decimal.
This makes them difficult to read, i.e.:
"DisplayDeviceType": 12810,
"DisplayPlatformType": 13392,
"DrawSurfaceColorSpace": 12425,
If we instead convert them to hex, they are much easier to
read and grep the source for.
"DisplayDeviceType": "0x320A",
"DisplayPlatformType": "0x3450",
"DrawSurfaceColorSpace": "0x3089",
Since JSON doesn't actually support hexadecimal values, this CL
stores them as strings.
Ideally we could take this a step farther and store the enum
directly in JSON, but we have no facilities for converting
a string back to an enum.
