Make test updates to align more with conformance test
immutable-tex-render-feedback.html:
- Change several data types from unsigned to signed
- Some test iterations are skipped entirely
- Signed types align more closely with the gl operations
in which they are used as arguments.
- Update MIPS constant from 2 to 3
- Avoid modifying loop counter _level_prime_max directly

Check alpha in ColorMask for YUV target
ColorMask is used to mask the writing of R, G, B and A values to all
active draw buffers. r, g, b, and a indicate whether R, G, B, or A
values, respectively, are written or not (a value of TRUE means that
the corresponding value is written) except when the color buffer is
in YUV color space, in that case setting any one of the r, g, b, and
a values as false would generate draw time INVALID_OPERATION error.

Account for zero vector axes in Mat4::Rotate(...)
When the axis passed in to the Rotate function is (0, 0, 0), normalizing
that vector will result in NaN values. Prevent this by returning an
identity matrix and early out instead.

GL: Remove parallel compile/link without driver support
This feature was practically disabled everywhere due to various bugs,
and is complicating the code. In effect, the code was always spawning a
thread for the compilation and link jobs, immediately fail it (due to a
workaround), then do the job when compile/link is resolved (much closer
to draw time). This leads to bad user experience, but also is racy
because the shaders may get recompiled in the meantime and there is
little the GL backend could do to stop that (efficiently).
After this change, parallel compile/link
is either done by the driver (if supported), or it isn't done.
This is a partial revert of a100d8f471f79b9f88d387164992cc5bd9c6ee9f.

Replace GetResourceFromHashSet with map lookup
Function GetResourceFromHashSet had linear time complexity
because it was sweeping through the set until a resource with a
matching ID was found. This change replaces hash sets with hash
maps to get constant time lookup. This solves, among other things,
O(N^2) time complexity for rendering scenes containing a large
number of surfaces.
Function GetResourceFromHashSet was consuming over 50% of all CPU time
on the main thread of Chrome's GPU process while running the MotionMark
1.2 Images test. With this change, the benchmark score increases by
70% on an M1 MacBook running a PGO official build of Chrome.

Move BinaryStream to common and expose ShaderState to compiler
This is a refactor change in preparation for adding support for
glShaderBinary.
Move BinaryStream to common so that it is accessible by both libANGLE
and the Compiler.
Extract members that hold the result of compilation from ShaderState
and move into new CompiledShaderState struct.
Move helper functions & classes relevant to ShaderVar serialization to
the CompiledShaderState header.

Vulkan: Fix a cornercase bug when dynamically loading AHB APIs.
The commit 122a1cc583f0 enabled dynamic loading of AHB APIs but did
not handle the cornercase where some Android system services load
"libnativewindow.so" with the RTLD_LOCAL flag. In such cases AHB
APIs would not be resolvable through dlsym lookup. Explicitly dlopen
"libnativewindow.so" in such cases.

Implement GLSL additions for ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage
Specs out, implements, and thoroughly tests the GLSL additions for
ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage. Adds a simple transformation that
rewrites PLS directly into shader images. Updates the existing PLS tests
to use the newly built-in PLS features and ensures they continue
passing.
For now, applications call glBindImageTexture to configure their pixel
local storage. The OpenGL ES API side of this extension will follow
shortly.

Vulkan: Optimize the vkImage layout when used as GL_image
If one vkImage has been used as GL_image in compute shader and as
a GL_texture in fragment shader, no dependencies are needed for the
fragment shader and other pre-fragment graphics shaders, like
vertex/tess/geom.
If we only assign the vkImage layout as writable when running GL
executables that have Image Textures, we can specify more precise
read-only barriers when running read-only GL executables.

Binding descriptor sets that use VK_WHOLE_SIZE with a dynamic offset

(This is due to pow(), when passed an int for the second param, widens
the first param to a double then returns a double).
Since the code was being changed the opportunity was taken to:
- add missing unit tests for the two 999E5 conversions
- optimise out the common pow() functions
The unit tests were written against the original implementation, then
the optimisations added and verified against the original results.

Add PowerVR Vendor ID & Vulkan GL Line Emulation Exclusion
Adds the PowerVR VendorID into the accepted vendor list, and prevent
basic GL line emulation from being ran on PowerVR hardware as it's
not required on those platforms, yet causes CTS failures when enabled.
Fixes a variety of line failure tests across OGLES3/3.1 test suites
seen on PowerVR hardware.

GCC: init kImageMemoryBarrierData with initializer constructor
GCC fails to automatically map the initializer assignment for
initializing the angle::PackedEnumMap. So this change adds the

Optimize thread specific storage and retrieval with native ASM
Android reserves specific TLS slots to store thread specific
values. Given that the Context object gets queried on every
call we leverage Android's ASM code to improve the speed of
this operation.
TLS_SLOT_OPENGL is an unused slot in Android and using that
in combination with the ASM code,rather than using the
pthread API, allows angle to store and retrieve thread specific
context object much more efficiently.

Vulkan: Add depth to mipmap generation
In generateMipmaps, remove hard coded depth of 1, shift depth
like every other dimension.
Remove MipmapsForTexture3D test pixel value check, in es spec3.2 8.14.4
"No particular filter algorithm is required, though a box filter is recommended."
It's implementation-dependent. In current angle implementation, will

Vulkan: Add robust init for NULL texture image.
In gl::ReadPixels(), ValidateReadPixels() will try to
flush staged updates before readPixels. In the case
where a texture was initialized with null RGBA data,
no Framebuffer dirty bits are set, and thus the staged
clear would never be flushed from the staged updates.
1. Add robust init in TextureVk::initImage to ensure
image is initialized.
Test: ./angle_end2end_tests --gtest_filter=\
RobustResourceInitTest*_Vulkan_AllocateNonZeroMemory
2. Update stageSubresourceRobustClear() to
kEmulatedInitColorValue in the case where robust resource
was initialized without full RGBA format to update

Change g_Mutex from std::mutex to std::recursive_mutex
When running flatland on android-10.0.0_r21 (Pixel 3), libgui's ~EglImage calls
eglTerminate which grabs angle's EGL entry point mutex. The path continues
to libvulkan where eventually another egl call happens (eglDestroyImageKHR) and
it will attempt to take the mutex at the entry point again. So we try to get the
mutex multiple times from the same thread.
Change this mutex to a recursive_mutex to allow for this re-entry of EGL calls

Found two issues when native OVR_multiview and OVR_multiview2 extensions are generated.

Add tex2d half float tests to expectations file
GL_HALF_FLOAT and GL_HALF_FLOAT_OES have different
values and only the latter is valid in GLES 2.0.
However, angle_deqp_khr_gles2_tests expects these
two enums to be treated as interchangable. This
is a bug in deqp, so the affected tests should
be expected to fail until the bug is fixed.

Vulkan: Fix dirty element array buffer updates.
The issue occurs that binds the same buffer and calls glDrawElements
with the same indices. The offset has been reset in the
VertexArrayVk::syncState(), but it doesn't check the actual value
in the ContextVk::setupIndexedDraw().
Also corrected case where update via BufferSubData wasn't being
sent to the HW.

Use D3D11 GetDimensions driver workaround for 2D integer textures
Some NVIDIA D3D11 drivers are buggy and interprets the level passed to
GetDimensions as being relative to 0, rather than the SRV's MostDetailedMip.
A test is added which reads from non-zero base level integer texture. When the
workaround is not being used, reads outside the first quadrant return black.

Vulkan: Add DispatchUtilsVK
This class provides a set of compute-based internal utilities.
Currently, buffer clear and copy are implemented. Other possibilities
include more efficient mip map generation, or specialized texture
operations.
VertexArrayVk::updateIndexTranslation() is updated to convert the
GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE index buffer to a GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT one using this
class to avoid a CPU readback.
The vk::Format class is augmented with a few flags (IsInt, IsUnsigned)
to be able to select the appropriate shader based on the format (float,
int or uint).

Don't generate TypeInfo objects as static objects within GetTypeInfo function
Generating static objects within a function results in multithread safe
code. This code generates the static objects upon the first execution of the
line which declares the object. This results in high runtime cost for
synchronization and a bigger code size.
Instead introduce a new function uint32_t GetPackedTypeInfo(GLenum type)
which returns a packed representation for the Type class. This
representation is usually returned in a register on the assembly level.
As a result we save constant storage for the TypeInfo object and one
indirection when reading any value from this object. The Type constructor
accepts the packed representation and unpacks it an inline function. For
fields which are not used the compiler also applies dead code
elimination which reduces the cost furthermore.
As a result of this change the cost of GetTypeInfo is reduced by a
factor of 4-5.

D3D11 fix: Mipmapping was used although disabled via Sampler
When using a sampler the texture was created as if it has mipmaps,
regardless what you specified in GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER via
glSamplerParameteri() -- mistakenly the default value
GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_LINEAR or the value set via glTexParameteri() was
evaluated.
If you didn't provide mipmaps and didn't let the driver generate them
this led to not sampling your texture data when minification occurred.

Update driver constants on program change. Comes with a new SamplerMetadataUpdateOnSetProgram test.
This is a fix for a graphics problem we've been seeing for a while with WebRender+Angle on Nvidia/Windows. The sampler metadata doesn't get updated properly for some of the draw calls, since it's not invalidated on program change (this is what the CL is fixing). Extra entries get filled with garbage data because the constant buffer is updated with `MAP_WRITE_DISCARD`, and only those samplers are updated that the current program has. This may generally occur undetected, if not for our `textureSize` calls that appear to go the NV-specific Angle workaround path that ignores our `baseLevel = 0` and instead picks the one from the driver constants (which contains garbage), leading to either zeroes returned or even crashing the driver sometimes...

On some Mac drivers with shader version 4.1, they will
treat unused std140 and shared uniform blocks' members as inactive. However,
WebGL2.0 based on OpenGL ES3.0.4 requires all members of a named uniform block
declared with a shared or std140 layout qualifier to be considered active.
The uniform block itself is also considered active.
This workaround is to reference all members of unused std140 and shared uniform blocks
at the beginning of the vertex/fragment shader's main().

After experiencing a device loss, Renderer11::resetDevice can fail to
recreate mDevice, leaving it null. In a following call to

This workaround is to reference all members of unused std140 and shared uniform blocks
at the beginning of the vertex/fragment shader's main().

D3D11: Prevent DXGI hooking the Alt+Enter keystroke
When ANGLE is using D3D11 and not using DirectComposition, DXGI will hook
the window's message loop and override Alt+Enter to trigger a transition
to exclusive fullscreen mode. This disables that behaviour, since it's
inconsistent between backends and, at least during my testing, the
application did not even work correctly after the transition to fullscreen
mode.
This commit should be similar to the workarounds implemented in Qt and mpv
to prevent this behaviour and will hopefully make those workarounds
unnecessary. Only the DXGI_MWA_NO_ALT_ENTER flag is used, since the other
flags didn't seem to have an effect and probably only matter in fullscreen
mode.

floating point perf improvement in CopyNativeVertexData
In the CopyNativeVertexData template function, in the else clause
use memcpy/memset rather than for loops. This is a performance
improvment for floating point versions of CopyNativeVertexData,
particularly on 32-bit Firefox, where the -arch:IA32 compiler
option used cause the compiler to generate fld/fstp operations
inside the for loops.
Update AUTHORS & CONTRIBUTORS to include AMD.

1. Check if .git/index is available in angle directory.
2. Use generated commit.h file if git is available or copy the default
file instead.
