[metal] Add commands scheduled sync object
We need a thread-safe way to wait for ANGLE Metal command buffers to be
scheduled for IOSurface synchronization with DrDC + Graphite on Mac.
The existing eglWaitUntilWorkScheduledANGLE API isn't thread-safe as it
reaches into ContextMtl innards to flush the command buffer.
This CL adds the EGL_ANGLE_metal_commands_scheduled_sync extension which
introduces a EGL_SYNC_METAL_COMMANDS_SCHEDULED_ANGLE sync object type.
This sync object is signaled when pending Metal commands are scheduled
to run on the GPU (MTLCommandBufferStatusScheduled). These sync objects
are thread-safe - eglClientWaitSync() can be called on any thread even
without a current context which is needed for DrDC + Graphite on Mac.

PLS: enforce rules around color attachment 0.
Generate INVALID_OPERATION during draw calls if the following two
rules are not satisfied:
1. If the fragment shader declares index zero output, then attachment
zero must be present, and have a compatible numeric type.
2. If attachment zero is present, it must be enabled.
This avoids complex and error-prone workarounds on macOS with AMD
GPUs, and enforces the same simple and consistent rules on all
platforms.

Vulkan: Use the GENERAL layout if VK_KHR_unified_image_layouts
This lets ANGLE simplify synchronization by generally being able to use
memory barriers instead of listing image barriers separately. Although
the more specific access masks from VK_KHR_synchronization2 is possibly
necessary for some hardware to work optimally
(VK_ACCESS_2_SHADER_SAMPLED_READ_BIT in particular).
It also lets ANGLE optimize a very specific scenario. Take an image
used in the following scenario:
1. Copy to image in a transfer operation
2. Sample from image in the fragment shader of render pass 1
3. Sample from image in the vertex shader of shader pass 2
When GENERAL is not used, there's a layout transition between steps 1
and 2, changing the layout from TRANSFER_DST to
SHADER_READ_ONLY_OPTIMAL (with dst stage == fragment shader). Later, at
step 3, we need to make sure the vertex shader at least waits for this
layout transition to finish... a dependency which is not expressible in
Vulkan:
* There cannot be a dependency to step 1, because the layout transition
is not necessarily done
* There is no stage mask that signifies the end of a layout transition.
Without GENERAL, ANGLE has no choice but to issue a fragment->vertex
dependency before step 3, serializing render pass 2's vertex pass with
render pass 1's fragment pass on tilers.
When using the GENERAL layout instead, step 3 can issue a
transfer->vertex memory barrier, including using a VkEvent,
parallelizing the two render passes.
The above optimization is possible after this change, but not yet
implemented.

Update invalidation commands to disable PLS
Previously, commands that flush or invalidate tiled memory were
specified to generate an error if issued while PLS was active.
Remove all provisions around Flush(), Finish() and ClientWaitSync(),
and add a test to ensure these commands have no effect on PLS.
The reason we can make this change now is because we no longer support
EXT_shader_pixel_local_storage, which previously prevented us from
allowing these 3 commands.
Update the invalidation commands to disable PLS instead. This is more in
line with the general design pattern of PLS. Update the wording of the
spec to reflect this better organization.
Also clean up some legacy code that was no longer used.

Cut MAX_COLOR_ATTACHMENTS_WITH_ACTIVE_PIXEL_LOCAL_STORAGE_ANGLE
Since the number of real devices that support framebuffer fetch, but do
not support draw_buffers_indexed, is effectively zero,
MAX_COLOR_ATTACHMENTS_WITH_ACTIVE_PIXEL_LOCAL_STORAGE_ANGLE is an
unnecessary complication. These hypothetical devices can fall back on
shader images or just not support pixel local storage at all.
This closes the door for WEBGL_shader_pixel_local_storage to ever be
implemented on top of the ES2 extension that inspired it all,
EXT_shader_pixel_local_storage, but WebGL can just use framebuffer fetch
instead, or maybe even EXT_shader_pixel_local_storage2 some day.
This dramatically simplifies the WEBGL_shader_pixel_local_storage
extension.

Reland: vulkan: add EGL_ANGLE_platform_angle_vulkan_device_uuid
Implement the ability to select a specific device and driver combination
through a few new selection criteria:
VkPhysicalDeviceIDProperties::deviceUUID
VkPhysicalDeviceIDProperties::driverUUID
VkPhysicalDeviceDriverProperties::driverID
Earlier version had problems due to a test build issue. Per syoussefi@,
going to rework the test into a separate CL so that we get the core
change merged.

Accept framebuffer modifications while PLS is active
The only way for a WebGL implementation to know if PLS is actually
active is to call glGetIntegerv(PIXEL_LOCAL_STORAGE_ACTIVE_PLANES_ANGLE)
(because glBeginPixelLocalStorageANGLE() can fail). So the original
behavior of not allowing glBindFramebuffer() et. al. while PLS was
active created a state scenario that was expensive for the browser to
track.
Instead, just allow glBindFramebuffer() et. al., and implicitly disable
PLS if they are called while it's active.

Remove draw buffer validation clauses from PLS
It was cumbersome to implement all this validation browser side for
WebGL.
Rather than making it an error to update blend and color mask on
reserved PLS draw buffers, glBeginPixelLocalStorageANGLE() can just
implicitly disable blend, and enable the color mask on overridden draw
buffers. Later calls to enable blend or change the color mask on
overridden planes are silently ignored until
glEndPixelLocalStorageANGLE().

Document thread-unsafe iterator access to resource maps
By using a proxy type, everywhere resource maps are iterated are clearly
marked as not being thread safe. In most cases, only destruction and
capture/replay iterate over these maps, which means thread safety is not
an issue (or is externally enforced).
The only case where iterators are used in the presence of other contexts
is with ANGLE_request_extension, which is changed to explicitly require
the application to ensure thread safety. In practice, the user is
Chrome which already guarantees this.

Remove Program::syncState
The last bit of responsibility still left in Program::syncState was to
wait for post-link tasks for the sake of EGLBlobCacheTest tests. A new
extension, GL_ANGLE_program_binary_readiness_query is created so that
the wait can be done in the test itself.
This extension is ultimately useful for applications as well, so they
can avoid blocking the CPU by calling glGetProgramBinary prematurely.

Vulkan: Add EGL_ANGLE_global_fence_sync
Chrome has an implicit assumption that due to context virtualization,
signaling a fence in one context results in synchronization with _all_
contexts that have previously made submissions.
This is not per EGL spec, but the functionality is easily implementable
in the Vulkan backend. In the Vulkan backend, each context is given its
own "timeline" of submissions (tracked by serials associated with
"indices"). The required functionality is implemented through a new EGL
fence sync object whose sole difference is that it synchronizes with all
the existing timelines rather than the one of the current context.

Metal: Allow using GL_RGB with either RGBA/BGRA IOSurface.
Previously we only allowed GL_RGB internal format to be used with BGRA
IOSurface and GL_RGBX8_ANGLE to be used with RGBA IOSurface
respectively.
However, there are currently many places in Chrome prefer GL_RGB to be
able to be used with both RGBA and BGRA IOSurface.
This CL allows such combinations. Instead of deducing angle::FormatID of
the IOSurface pbuffer based on the input GL internal format & type, we
will take into account the pixel format of the IOSurface as well.
For example, when we call eglCreatePbufferFromClientBuffer with GL_RGB
internal format attribute:
- if IOSurface's pixel format is 'RGBA' ->
deduced angle::FormatID is R8G8B8A8_UNORM.
- if IOSurface's pixel format is 'BGRA' ->
deduced angle::FormatID is B8G8R8A8_UNORM.
This CL also removes GL_RGBX8_ANGLE support from Metal backend. Because
there are many places in Chrome that use this format enum for both RGBA
& BGRA IOSurface when the extension is available. It's redundant to
support that since GL_RGB already covers most of the required cases.

GL: Remove parallel compile/link without driver support
This feature was practically disabled everywhere due to various bugs,
and is complicating the code. In effect, the code was always spawning a
thread for the compilation and link jobs, immediately fail it (due to a
workaround), then do the job when compile/link is resolved (much closer
to draw time). This leads to bad user experience, but also is racy
because the shaders may get recompiled in the meantime and there is
little the GL backend could do to stop that (efficiently).
After this change, parallel compile/link
is either done by the driver (if supported), or it isn't done.
This is a partial revert of a100d8f471f79b9f88d387164992cc5bd9c6ee9f.

Allow glDelete* while PLS is active
Banning glDelete* is extremely dangerous. It will almost definitely
cause memory leaks in client code, and it makes JS garbage collection
needlessly complex.
Instead, specify that PLS is implicity deactivated if the client deletes
anything that is attached to the current draw framebuffer during a PLS
rendering pass.

Deinitialize PLS planes when their texture is deleted
The spec originally called for PLS planes to be converted to memoryless
when their texture was deleted, but this is not compatible with WebGL,
which does not support memoryless planes. Change the behavior to
deinitialize them instead.
This change requires the addition of a new observer message,
angle::SubjectMessage::TextureIDDeleted, which PLS uses to deinitialize
a plane when the app deletes its texture.

Ban transform feedback and blend extensions with PLS
Transform feedback can lead to render pass breaks in the Vulkan backend.

depending on API state, which can invalidate a PLS implementation.
KHR_blend_equation_advanced does not allow multiple draw buffers, which
is required by some PLS implementations.

Add EGL_ANGLE_wait_until_work_scheduled extension
We're changing eglReleaseTexImage so it calls
flushCommandBuffer(mtl::NoWait) instead of
flushCommandBuffer(mtl::WaitUntilScheduled)
and then adding an extension to allow us to
WaitUntilScheduled.
This is because Chrome calls eglReleaseTexImage for
every canvas and having it WaitUntilScheduled per call
is very slow. So instead we'll call eglWaitUntilWorkScheduledANGLE
once which will effectively wait just once.

Add ANGLE_provoking_vertex spec
Renamed provoking vertex enums to use _ANGLE suffix.
The newly defined enums alias those from the
desktop OpenGL extensions.
Updated tests to use the new enum names.

Add Store Ops to pixel local storage
Browsers will need the ability to pre-empt pixel local storage, which
means every plane will need a backing store to dump to. Store Ops allow
the app to still avoid memory transactions at the end of PLS even if
their plane has a backing texture.

Update EGL_ANGLE_metal_shared_event_sync implementation.
Rename the extension's .txt file to match the current name of the
extension.
Update function signatures to take EGLSync rather than EGLSyncKHR. The
two types are conceptually incompatible. This extension requires the
use of eglCreateSync rather than eglCreateSyncKHR because the latter
takes an array of EGLInt, but EGLAttrib is needed to express pointers
(to MTLSharedEvents) in the attribute list.
Revise ContextMtl::flush to use WaitUntilScheduled on older operating
systems not supporting MTLSharedEvent.

Implement an allow list for PLS
In order to guarantee no data is lost while using the
EXT_shader_pixel_local_storage extension, we need to restrict
applications to a small subset of commands while pixel local storage is
active. This CL implements the allow list for GL entrypoints using
wildcard matching inside the code generator, and adds custom validation
for the more specific restrictions that go into effect when PLS is
active.

Add a framebuffer fetch implementation of PLS
The framebuffer fetch implementation works by attaching PLS backing
textures to the framebuffer, and then rewriting PLS uniforms as "inout"
fragment variables. The compiler's existing machinery takes it from
there and makes it work on GL and Vulkan, and soon Metal.
EXT_shader_framebuffer_fetch is now the preferred backend for pixel
local storage, but we also use EXT_shader_framebuffer_fetch_non_coherent
if shader images can't be coherent. This is especially interesting for
Vulkan, since noncoherent framebuffer fetch is possible without any
extensions.

EGL: Implement eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE
Add eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE function to the
ANGLE_metal_shared_event_sync extension. This brings the extension on
par with the EGL_ANDROID_native_fence_sync extension.
eglCopyMetalSharedEventANGLE allows for copying the Metal event object
from EGLSync objects implemented by the ANGLE Metal renderer. This
function follows Objective-C convention for "copy" methods and increases
the retain count of the Metal event object. The EGL API user is thus
responsible for ensuring to release the returned object to avoid memory
leaks.

Implement the ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage API
Implements the OpenGL ES API for ANGLE_shader_pixel_local_storage and
adds thorough validation and testing as outlined in the spec. This
feature is still implemented entirely in the frontend, but the extension
now works end-to-end with a passing test suite, and can be used
externally. Over time we can start gradually moving the implementation
into backends as appropriate.

Introduce GL_ANGLE_logic_op
This extension exposes the desktop GL glLogicOp function as a GLES
extension. This is supported by Vulkan through the logicOp feature as
well.
The goal is to directly use this extension in GLES1 emulation where the
backend supports it, avoiding a more costly fallback.

d3d11: Support rendering to GL_TEXTURE_2D target for YUV images
YUV D3D11 texture plane EGLImages can be bound to TEXTURE_EXTERNAL_OES,
but don't support rendering because ExternalImageSibling11::IsYUV()
returns true. While it might appear that IsYUV() should return true for
YUV D3D11 textures, the EGLImage siblings are actually for individual
planes which are R/RG 8/16 and they can indeed be bound as render
targets if we just return false for IsYUV().
This CL makes IsYUV() return false and adds a test for rendering to
YUV EGLImages.

Map RGBX AHB to GL_RGBX8_ANGLE and fix the load function
AHARDWAREBUFFER_FORMAT_R8G8B8X8_UNORM was false mapped to GL_RGB8, which
will write back to the backing exteranl storage with 3 channel layout.
Angle actually has ANGLE_rgbx_internal_format to fix the mapping with
GL_RGBX8_ANGLE. However, the load function must align with GL_RGB8 if
the actual storage is 4 channel. This change also fixes that to use
LoadToNative3To4<GLubyte, 0xFF>.
